Episode #40 of "Library of the Living Dead" - Derek Gunn's "The End of Things"
Explicit
January 18, 2008 07:58 PM PST

Here you go Good Librarians ... the entire novellla by Derek Gunn entitled "The End of Things". No commercial interruptions, no bullshitting, no nothing ... just a fucking great novella in it's entire glorious presentation. Your good ole Dr. Pus done lost him his voice due to a damn winter cold so the regular podcast would have sounded like shit. BELIEVE ME!!

And just cause I'm a sumbitch, you have to listen to the whole episode to get the last chapter in Derek's "The End of Things". Ain't I a booger?

'Sides, this novella needs to be heard in one listening, it's that good. So, strap on the headphones or turn up your speakers and get ready for one of the best stories I've ever had the pleasure to read and record.

Cheers to my Irish mate Derek for allowing me to present this excellent novella in one listening.

Hit play and enjoy Derek's "The End of Things".

And thanks for listening Good Librarians. Episode #41 will be the regular old ..... wellllll, regular old.

Took some time to get back on track, but I think you'll like the show. It's a lot tighter than some of the previous shows. I kinda thought they were getting a tad messy, so I put bunches more time in this one. This is the episode where I get to read Eric S. Brown's short story he wrote with me as a character in it. It's called "Dr. Pus" and has already been sold for publication. How cool is that? Here's the time signatures for the show:

7:17 - Introduction

28:14 - Novel Review "Death Hulk"
31:47 - Short Story by Scott Standridge "Till The Lord Come"

This will be the CD I will be giving away at the ZombieFest 2007 in Monroeville on October 27th & 28th. Jayzombie of the ZombieFans Talk Radio has graciously offered me a place at his table in the Monroevill Exop Mart. I'll be giving away free swag there so if you plan on attending, please stop by and say howdy to Jay and I. I'll be the one in the black Dental scrubs and a very blonde mohawk haricut. We'll be dong some interviews during the two day even and have one really exciting interview already confimed. It will be with Dr. Kim Paffenroth, he of the most excellent "Dying To Live" and "The Gospel of the Living Dead". Mayhaps we can have him give us a little bit of what's to happen in "Dying to Live 2". So anywho, enjoy the entire "Beginning of the Dead" audio presentation.

I hope you like it. And thanks sooo much good Librarians for all of your support. We've had over 800 downloads just this week. You and I are gong to take over the world, especially when the zombie apocalypse comes. We'll be prepared.
